A shooting in Nashville's Napier area has left a man with non-life-threatening injuries and the police on the hunt for a suspect, the Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed. According to WKRN, The incident took place earlier this week on May 4, Friday 6 PM near the Sudekum Public Housing complex, located at 180 Charles E. Davis Boulevard.
The 29-year-old victim, who has not been named, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment and is currently recovering; the authorities reported Saturday morning that efforts to locate the suspect, described as wearing a white shirt, a multi-colored hat, light-colored vest, and dark colored pants along with a black mask, are still ongoing, and Metro Police even tweeted a photo to aid in their search—though finding the assailant has proven elusive as the city grapples with this act of violence. In a post on X by MNPDNashville, they made a public appeal asking anyone with knowledge of the suspect's identity to come forth and contact them directly at 615-742-7463.
