Lambert orchestrated the "Music for Mutts" event, which is a charitable angle on the usual concert scene. The night's proceeds will go straight to MuttNation Foundation, the nonprofit she and her mother founded in 2009 to help out our four-legged friends.

The concert, scheduled for October 5 at the open-air Ascend Amphitheater in the heart of Music City, promises to play tunes and actively put barks back into the neglected corners of animal shelters. Miranda plans "sharing an evening of great music with some great friends that will also feature lots of mutts," she explained in a statement by FOX 17. The gesture is both a celebration of the foundation's 15th anniversary and a bid to make known shelter animals' plight amply.

Underscored by MuttNation's impressive track record of raising nearly $10 million for animal welfare and adoption, the concert also aligns with Lambert's recent musical pursuits. Her new single "Wranglers," which just hit listeners' ears, debuted with a live rendition at Stagecoach Festival, where even Reba McEntire popped in as a surprise guest, according to a Rolling Stone report.

"We’ll have an adoption event and lots of other activities—and just make it a big party," Lambert told MusicRow.
