A San Antonio man was cuffed for allegedly unleashing a hail of bullets on three people upon knocking on their apartment door, law enforcement officials disclosed.

Jesse Salazar, 28, stands accused of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon after the violent encounter at the PARC 410 Apartments on April 25. Cops rushed to the scene following the gunfire report and discovered one individual wounded, according to the police. FOX San Antonio detailed how Salazar allegedly chose to knock on the victims' door and, upon response, drew his weapon to immediately begin to open fire.

The gunfire incident left a bystander, a family member of the two residents, injured while Salazar reportedly targeted the trio – a 26-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, who both fortunately emerged unscathed. The injured family member's condition remains undisclosed.

Witness accounts, as documented by law enforcement and reported by FOX San Antonio, describe Salazar approaching and knocking on the door prior to the outbreak of violence. It was when the door was answered that he purportedly decided to then pull out his weapon and begin firing, striking the family member as the two residents narrowly avoided harm.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing as officials continue to stitch together the motive behind Salazar's alleged attack. Salazar, who has since been arrested, will face the justice system where the weight of his actions will be measured and penalties decided.
