Tragedy struck early Thursday morning in Glendale when a man was killed and a woman severely injured after being hit by a car while crossing the street, the crash has reopened conversations about pedestrian safety in the area. The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the female victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries; their identities have not been disclosed. Arizona’s Family news crews noted that authorities conducted a field sobriety test on the driver involved in the crash, who stayed at the scene after the incident.
