Authorities have nabbed a 47-year-old woman, Donna Marie Morriss, accused of a series of identity thefts and forgeries stretching back several years. The Multnomah County District Attorney's Office has charged Morriss with a total of 46 counts across four cases, including aggravated identity theft, felony computer crime, and forgery. Arrested on April 3, Morriss is now behind bars at Multnomah County Detention Center, according to the Multnomah County District Attorney.

With allegations that Morriss preyed on the vulnerable, such as seniors and disabled adults, the indictment comes after an investigation that involved pivotal information from Multnomah County Adult Protective Services. Having charged her with 15 counts of Aggravated Identity Theft, among other charges, the District Attorney's Office is now urging other potential victims to step forward. Arrested by Portland Police, her hands are now tied as the wheels of justice begin to turn.

The severity of the charges is underlined by the fact that Morriss faces nine counts of Felony Computer Crime and eight counts of Forgery in the First Degree. This is in addition to four counts each of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card and Theft in the First Degree.
