Chaos erupted at an apartment complex in Rancho Cucamonga when two individuals, identified as Samuel Steele, 27, and Breeana Aguirre, 29, allegedly took to assaulting a staff member with a sharp object, authorities reported. The incident, which took place in the 8837 block of Grove Avenue, had deputies rushing to the scene after the report of violence on May 2nd. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department, the duo was confronted for reportedly sleeping on the property before the confrontation turned physical.

Steele and Aguirre supposedly attempted to swiftly leave the crime scene on foot. Their flight was short-lived as the deputies, on an active pursuit, managed to locate both suspects walking along the nearby railroad tracks. They were apprehended following a brief foot chase, the Sheriff's Department announced.
