You would have no idea it's almost summer by today's weather, but the family that runs Katz Bagels is planning ahead. They'd like to open their backyard space for outdoor dining. But they're going to need your help.

They're applying for a permit to open up their great backyard space to customers. You can help by adding your name to a list in support of their plans. There aren't a whole lot of outdoor dining destinations in the Lower Haight. Offhand we can think of Cafe du Soleil, Bean There, Mad Dog in the Fog, Cafe International, Duboce Park Cafe, and to an extent, The Grind. (If you can name others, let us know.) So we're more than happy to endorse this idea, and we suggest you drop by Katz soon and do the same!
