Hayes Valley Farm Film Night TomorrowFlickr/edibleoffice
It's time for the second-ever Hayes Valley Farm Film Night, going down tomorrow just a couple blocks northeast of the Lower Haight.

The flick is Botany of Desire, a 2009 documentary about four specific plants (apples, potatoes, cannabis and tulips), and their relationship to humankind. In addition to the film, there will be live bluegress music from the Jugtown Pirates, a bake sale, hot chocolate from Rainbow Grocery, and a raffle of prizes from local shops and restaurants. Unlike last time, this edition of HVFFN is free (although a $5 donation would be appreciated). Oh, and this event's totally BYOB (bring your own blanket). Gates open at 7pm, and the film starts at sundown. See you there?
