Divisadero Art Walk Tonight

Not that long ago, Divisadero Street was but a sleepy, dusty corridor separating the western edge of San Francisco from the eastern wilds of the Presidio. There was nary a single artisanal pizzeria to speak of, let alone a Popeyes.

Fortunately, times have changed. Today, the street is positively booming with boutiques, bars, and world-class eateries. And while Divisadero long ago ceded its title as San Francisco's western border (to... well... the ocean), the street is the reigning unofficial western border of the Lower Haight — and, thus, deserves celebrating.

Tonight, explore the many delights of this storied street at the Divisadero Art Walk, where art, cocktails, music and discounts converge in a festival of all things Divis.

From 5pm till 10pm, shops from Haight to Geary will be offering up specials like:

  • Ziryab Grill (528 Divis) - Free martini (!) with purchase of an entrée

  • Madrone (500 Divis) - Opening reception for artist Cliff Hengst

  • MaduSalon (300 Divis) - Group art show, including photography, paintings, and sculpture

  • Population Salon (537 Divis) - Art reception, plus 10% off future appointments booked tonight

  • The Page (298 Divis) - $3 Ommegang BPA pints, music by the California Honeydrops, plus Gorilla Pete (!) grilling outside from 5-8pm

  • Little Chihuahua (292 Divis) - $3 tacos, $3 pints, plus an art show

  • Swankety Swank (289 Divis) - Tea and Tarot from 5 - 9pm, plus a showcase of works from over 20 artists

  • Studio Choo / Prairie Collective (262 Divis) - Learn how to make herb-infused olive oils, courtesy of Star Apple Edible Gardens, from 6-8pm

How will it stack up to last week's Lower Haight Art Walk? Is there a chance Divisadero will become your new favorite street in San Francisco? You'll just have to show up to find out.

Never miss a story.
