Spotted on Oak between Scott and Divisadero yesterday afternoon was this woven delight -- quite possibly the sickest piece of carpet we've ever seen.

It's "sick" both in the informal sense that it's phenomenal, but also in the literal sense that it's possibly infectious. With waves of beige, aqua, dark aqua, light aqua, peach, and dirt, this thing might be right at home in a commercial for Crystal Light or Jane Fonda workout tapes. Instead, it's been left out on the sidewalk, presumably a brief stop on its way to the sweet hereafter. If you're starting to feel bad for this guy, don't. Something tells us he's going to be mighty popular at the landfill.
