What's Up at 435 Duboce?
We finally have a glimpse of what's going on at 435 Duboce Ave, a building which has been undergoing renovation for months.

Real estate website SocketSite reports on plans by McElroy Architects to turn the building, which "once housed a 6,000 square foot church," into a structure housing five residential units (up from two). In the process, they'll also, according to the architects, be "attempting to breathe life into the static façade of this bulky edifice." If you've walked past 435 Duboce recently, you've probably noticed that the first floor has been completely gutted, there's no roof, and essentially all that remains is the front façade and some interior beams.
Well, that'll all be changing soon: Along with the revamped exterior and increased residential usage, it looks to us like the project may include at least one street-level commercial space as well. No word on when construction will be complete, but we'll keep an eye on this one for ya.
