Scenes from the Lower Haight Summer Art Walk
Yesterday afternoon, the neighborhood was a-rockin' with a daytime edition of the Lower Haight Art Walk. Unlike previous Art Walks, this one kicked off at noon, giving it more of a family-friendly block party vibe. Steiner between Haight and Waller was closed to traffic, with a stage set up at the top of the block for DJs and bands to perform. The rest of the street was lined with local artists and vendors, and featured activities like chalk drawing and face painting. Here are some of our pics from the scene!

Did you attend? What did you think of the new daytime format? Let's hear it.
