Chasing Pavement: Laguna & Linden Get a Makeoverlooking down linden
Oh, hey there Laguna Street. It seems like you've seen better days. You're getting a makeover, you say? And it should be done in the next few weeks? That's great news. Laguna Street has seen periods of construction over the past 10 months while a water main has been replaced. As the project is reaching its close, many parts between Market and Post are getting repaved.

We reached out to Ghiloti Bros. (the subcontractor for the paving job) and spoke to project engineer Marty Murphy. He said they'll be out there all week between 8am-5pm so expect street closures until this Friday evening when they intend to be done.

This project is sponsored by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC). Contracted by M Squared Construction, Inc., the scope includes "Laguna Street from Post to Market Streets, Linden Street from Buchanan to Octavia Streets & Rose Street from Laguna to Octavia Streets" according to SFPUC's website. It's going to be loud and messy for a few more days, but the final result will be pavement even Adele would chase. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08DjMT-qR9g&ob=av3e
