Market SF Finds New Home in Hayes Valleyfacebook/marketsf
Market SF, a pop-up market that connects artists with patrons, has found a new home at RAG SF (541 Octavia). The Market SF team moved into a space within the store this past weekend and will be open for business next Monday, April 9.

We spoke to Jennifer Meyer who runs Market SF and she's excited to return to Hayes Valley after a two year hiatus from her last location (now, Cary Lane). When asked how this move came about, Jenn said "I've been working with Blakely at RAG for about a year and a half... and we cooked up this adventure last week when I was in there helping her build clothing racks." Market SF was last in Hayes Valley from November 2009 - January 2010 and Jenn has been trying to get back ever since. The purpose of Market SF is to connect artists with patrons, and help patrons find art they love. According to their website, "By marketing the artist's work to galleries, stores and independent buyers, Market SF takes the 'business' out of the creative cycle and allows artists to continue doing what they do best... creating art." We hear there might be an opening party later this month. We'll share the details soon as we find out so stay tuned. Welcome back, Market SF!
