Poster Shop Bites the Dust
It seems like every time Haight Street giveth a coffee shop, Haight Street taketh away a coffee shop. The cafe space at 1821 Haight is up for lease.

Anyone remember when 1821 Haight was Rockin' Java Cafe, and it looked like this?

Anyway, that was before the new ownership took over a few years back. They changed the look, and gave the place a shiny new red awning, as you may remember:

Last year, they changed the name, and rebranded as the Poster Shop Cafe (pictured up top). It closed recently, and now it's up for grabs. Now, the 2200 square foot space, located between Stanyan and Shrader and nestled adjacent to Murio's, is available for lease, and it can be yours for the low price of $110,000 per annum! Here's a photo of the For Lease sign, which you can only see if you're standing directly beneath it, as it's sort of folded over on itself:
We'll keep our ear to the ground, and let you who snatches it up.
