A new bar is on its way to 2349 Market Street between Noe and Castro. The Roaring Donkey Pub, being started by two friends Brian Tatko and Kelton McMullen, will replace a mirror and framing store that has since closed.
Interesting enough, it looks like the project may have been a long time coming after a quick Internet search resulted in a pseudo-site for the pub over on Blogger. The first and only post dated July 2010 reads:
In the very near future two men, of strong fortitude will be opening a pub, in a beautiful city called San Francisco, and will offer you amazing fun, cheap drinks, and all in the comfort of place that feels like a home away from home.
Sounds nice enough, but doesn't give us much to go on as far as format (will it be gay or straight?).
The liquor license is still pending so I don't imagine we'll see anything setup anytime soon from these men of professed courage and strong will.
Never miss a story.
