Among the many many new exciting album releases this fall is the new (eighth) album from Brooklyn-based Woods.
How does that concern the Haight, you may ask? We'll tell you how: because they're AWESOME.
Their catalog is a solid, fully developed repertoire of post-psych rock, complete with big, breezy riffs and fuzzy sound and echoey reverb. Their new album is a slight departure, though, and features a little bit of dark moodiness and a little bit of sunny beachpop.
The details on their new album, titled "Bend Beyond," are available here. The album comes out September 18 and the band will be in San Francisco October 17 at Preservation Hall (which, as far as we can tell, hasn't opened yet but is about to).
