Gypsy Streetwear Moves in to Haight & Masonic
Gypsy Streetwear already has a shop at 1474 Haight, but they scooped up the former check-cashing place and opened a second store. They opened yesterday, so we stopped in to see how they were doing.

Primarily, their goal was to expand the men's collection and move the clothes half of their stuff into the Haight & Masonic space. The shop at 1474 Haight will mostly focus on accessories. They aren't quite finished expanding into their new digs, but for now, the shop looks great, so go check it out. You can't miss the zazzy new paint job.
Gypsy Streetwear, for the uninitiated, is a Haight-based clothing shop that sells burner-style clothes and leather accessories. It's owned and operated by Time Laurel, a videographer and marketing guru, and Nera Laurel, a designer who studied fashion at the Academy of Art. The first shop opened in August of 2011.
