HANC Meeting Tonight: Panhandle, Bike Lanes, Streets

Tonight at the Page Branch library, at 7 PM, HANC is holding a community meeting to discuss upcoming changes to traffic patterns in the area.

On the agenda: the new traffic pattern designed for Masonic between Geary and Fell (also known to bikers as Blood Alley III), Oak Street seems to be getting a bike lane and/or "bulb outs," and Haight has the new Public Realm Plan underway to dress up the 'hood by the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love.

Be there, figure out what's going on, here it from the experts. HANC is welcoming James Shahamiri from the MTA, Alexis Smith from the Planning Department, and Christin Evans from HAMA to chat it out with you.

But if you don't make it, don't worry, we'll still tell you what's going on.
