It's the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Of course we've got some leftovers for ya.

Today, from 2pm to 4pm, head to Rare Device at 600 Divisadero for the opening reception of a pop-up boutique by SF-based designer and metalsmith Shana Astrachan. Dubbed "A Holiday Glamour Boutique," the collection includes handcrafted jewelry, accessories, paper goods and beauty products. The boutique runs through January 6th.
A Lower Haight resident has produced a show called Project Nunway IV, which will be happening next Sunday, December 2nd in Golden Gate Park. It's an annual fashion fundraiser running from 3pm to 7pm, pairing Sisters of the Perpetual Indulgence with designers to create a one-of-a-kind look. Tickets start at $20.12, and benefit the National AIDS Memorial Grove and The Sisters of Perpetual Indugence General Funds.
Wing Wings has begun accepting donations for the SF Food Bank. Bring in 2 items and receive a free drink or biscuit. The most needed contributions are: soup, chili, baked beans, canned veggies, canned tuna/meat, cereal, peanut butter, and granola bars.
In case you missed it, room rental site AirBnB recently launched neighborhood guides, including one for the Lower Haight. According to the site, the neighborhood's "cool nonchalance and convenient location make it a choice destination for casual entertainment, day and night." Hmm.
Over on our Divisaderian flank, Grub Street reports that the chef/partner behind Bar Crudo will soon be opening a new restaurant up in Guerneville called Seaside Metal. The venture will feature similar items like oysters, raw seafoods, and fish stews, and is slated to open in a few months.
Remember how we reported that one of the three units in the Waller Street mansion had hit the market for $9,000 a month? Well, now the other two units have followed suit. Both are listed as 3-bed, 2-bath "gems," and over on Craigslist they're running for $5,800 and $7,500 a month. There will be open houses today and tomorrow from noon to 2pm, if you're interested.
Finally, mark your calendar: the Winter Lower Haight Art Walk is less than two weeks away -- Friday, December 7th, starting at 6pm. We'll have more details soon.
