Neighborhood Crime Watch
Keep your eyes open and your doors locked tight, kids. Not to be alarmist, but someone lately has been big-game hunting in the neighborhood.

We got an alert this weekend that some time Friday evening, between the night of the 9th and the morning of Saturday the 10th, a car was stolen out of someone's closed, locked garage near the corner of Ashbury and Waller. As if that wasn't enough, there were no apparent signs of forced entry. The car, a 2012 Mazda 3 hatchback, was stolen from a garage containing 3 other tenants' cars. A bicycle also stored in the garage was missing Saturday morning. The SFPD is working to find the car but still hasn't made much headway; the crime is currently being classified as a burglary. We'll keep you posted. In the meantime, keep your wits about you!
