Published on December 17, 2012
Over 400 scantily clad Santa's participated in San Francisco AIDS Foundation's annual Santa Skivvies Run. In all, participants raised over $43,000 dollars to benefit the important work of the SF AIDS Foundation. Big props to runner Steven Bracco for raising the most of any participant with $4,178 in donations.
This year's run marks the first time the event was able to close off part of Noe Street at Market for it's first-ever Santa Skivvies Village. The Village was host to runners, friends and supporters gearing up and cuddling close for warmth in preparation for the run. The San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus was at the main stage providing entertainment and drag queens, Miss Gay USA, Mercedes Monroe along with local diva and host of Cocktailgate, Suppositori Spelling lead the runners on Segways around the Castro and back to the Lookout for the official after party.
