What do you do when you're a filmmaker, and there's a fire in your building? You grab your camera and get to work, apparently.

That's just what Andrew Callaway did this past Saturday night, when the 2-alarm fire struck at 625 Haight Street. The result of Andrew's quick thinking is the following amazing footage: Andrew's roommate Andrea tells us that their apartment was mostly spared, with just some water and smoke damage. However, the event was highly emotional for them and their neighbors, several of whom were displaced. Andrew asks that if you are moved to do so, please consider donating to the Red Cross, "because they are a wonderful organization which employs incredibly kind and interesting people." Indeed.
