Noir, the new wine bar and restaurant at 581 Hayes, will be hosting an event for Hayes Valley residents this Tuesday night.

The event is meant to officially introduce the neighborhood to Noir, which has been softly open for about 3 weeks. It will also be a celebration for their new executive chef Joanna Karlinsky (of Sweet Jo's Chili & Biscuits), who crafted the opening menu and will be staying on as a consulting chef. Tuesday also happens to be Joanna's birthday -- so, there are plenty of reasons to party. The night will include a film noir screening, a cash bar, and complimentary bites like Jo's chili and biscuits, tater tots, popcorn, pigs in a blanket, and more items from Noir's menu. It's scheduled to run from 6pm to 9pm.
