The Outside Lands Festival will be rocking Golden Gate Park this August -- and if you're planning on attending, keep an eye out for plenty of friendly foodie faces from Hayes Valley.

The organizers have just announced the festival's food lineup, dubbed "Taste of the Bay Area." A few local restaurants and food trucks will be on hand to satisfy your appetite between sets. Nojo returns to the festival this year with spicy nojo fries, served with katsu sauce and/or sapporo chili mayo. Straw will be slinging falafel and shawarma snowcones and sweet potato tots. You may recognize the likes of Del Popolo, Hapa SF, and Bacon Bacon food trucks from their frequent visits to the Proxy Project on Octavia. They'll be trucking their respective pizzas, spring rolls, and bacon burgers to the festival. Also, a couple of new additions this year: Blue Bottle will be pouring both hot single origin coffee and New Orleans-style iced coffee. And in something of a surprise, Rich Table joins the festival with their signature sardine chips and porcini doughnuts. So while you're waiting for the likes of Paul McCartney and the Red Hot Chili Peppers to take the stage, you'll be able to eat as though you never left the neighborhood. Outside Lands runs from August 9th to 11th, and 3-day passes are available here.
