Back in January, we told you about how Market SF, the pop-up retail operation within RAG SF on Octavia, would be closing and looking for a new permanent location. Well, now we know where they're heading.

Market SF has landed a space at 3979B 17th Street in the Castro, which was formerly home to a nail salon. In addition to the new address, the shop has a new name -- Local Take. It's described as "a San Francisco style boutique showcasing independent designers from around the world... Local Take encompasses all that makes us San Franciscans unique... where you'll find everything from fashion to home goods to jewelry." It looks like they're hard at work on the space this week, with a soft opening slated for May 18th. Next time you're in the Castro, stop by and check 'em out!
