Eater SF reported that Dante's Table (544 Castro Street), the new sit-down pizza and pasta restaurant that took over the Dancing Pig location, has officially opened up their new back patio. The back patio is called "Paradiso" extending the theme of the inside of the restaurant which is divided up into two areas "Inferno" and "Purgatorio"; the motif corresponds to the three parts of Dante's epic poem The Divine Comedy. The patio, which will be open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, features outdoor seating in a garden-like setting with heat lamps and an awning for off-weather days. The new restaurant is boasting a 4-star rating on Yelp with many reviewers very pleased with the service and food and others disappointed at the limited selection on the pizza menu. After being open for just over a month and some change, Dante's Table has proven to be a welcome addition to the Castro's dining options. Have you stopped by for a bite to eat? What did you think?
