Dog Waste Clean-Up Stations

Dog Waste Clean-Up Stations
The first, we hope, of many.

Currently, though, there's one lone station. It's just outside of FTC. In a stunning example of business owners fighting the city for basic quality-of-life improvements, technically, the dispenser is not legal. It's toward the street side of the sidewalk, so it's on city property. Still, FTC owner Kent Uyehara feels good about the renegade dispenser. He hopes to start the ball rolling to get more on the street, which is, admittedly, notorious for dog poop. Kent told us he paid about $130 with shipping to order the dispenser, and installed it himself. It's from Bow Wow Pet Waste Products. We're curious to see if the dispenser helps this stretch of the street stay a little bit cleaner. What do you think?
