Seeing as how zombies are all the rage, tonight's film should have extra appeal. It's 1978's Invasion of the Body Snatchers. The film, which stars Donald Sutherland, Brooke Adams, Jeff Goldblum, and Leonard Nimoy, centers on a group of San Franciscans who discover that “the human race is being replaced one by one, with clones devoid of emotion.” The fun begins around 8:30pm with some short films by students and staff at the Harvey Milk Rec Center, followed by the feature presentation. It's free, and there will be refreshments available. You'll probably just want to bring a blanket and some extra-warm clothes, as it's looking to be a typical San Francisco summer night.
