Get Local Groceries Delivered to Hayes ValleyGood Eggs / Happy Hens Farm
People often tell us they wish Hayes Valley had a decent grocery store. That may not be happening any time soon, but a new service is aiming to fill the gap.

Good Eggs lets you order items from more than 100 local farms, ranches, fishermen and cooks, and have them delivered right here to Hayes Valley. You can find anything from handmade tamales to seasonal produce to chocolate chip cookies to grass-fed beef, all made/raised/grown in the Bay Area. You won't find household items like paper towels or detergent like you would at a Safeway, but you will find a pretty wide array of high-quality staples for your fridge, and you'll know the story behind each of the items in your cart. Hayes Valley is one of several Good Eggs drop-off locations in San Francisco. Order by Sunday night at 11pm, and you can pick up your groceries on Tuesday from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Hayes and Octavia, in the lot next to Ritual and Smitten. Or for an extra $3.95, they'll deliver to your door. If you've used Good Eggs before, let us know what you think!
