At this very moment, a new mural is being painted outside O'Looney's Market at 588 Haight.
The mural is a project of Bored Stiff, a hip-hop collective based in the Lower Haight / Fillmore area. It will feature one of Bored Stiff's members, Kwanz, a.k.a. DubStar (real name Rick Fairley), who died in November of 2010 from a heart attack. A small crowd has gathered to watch the mural take shape.
