Scenes From Saturday's Urban Air Market
A few days late, but better than never. Here's a recap from Saturday's Urban Air Market in the Lower Haight.

Our correspondent Beth Thomas reports that the event was a success, with warm weather and steady crowds for much of the day and live jazz and blues music flowing through the streets. "There was much to look at and participate in -- clothes, jewelry, shoes, wall art, dog toys, tea, flowers, and even back massages," Beth notes. "The crowd was old and young, with many of the attendees coming from all over the city, not just the Lower Haight." It wasn't until late in the day, as the wind picked up and the shadows grew long, that vendors began to pack up and patrons flocked to the shelter of local bars and restaurants.
