Living Alleys Workshop Tonightsf-planning.org
Want to learn more about the "living alleys" that are being planned for Hayes Valley? Then you might want to attend this workshop tonight.

A supergroup of city agencies (the SF Planning Department, SFDPW, SFMTA, and Caltrans) is looking to turn underutilized local alleys into "street[s] primarily for pedestrians and bicyclists as well as space[s] for social uses." This might involve installing items like planters and benches, bike racks, landscaping, and lighting features. The designs are still evolving, which is why the public's input is crucial at this stage. Tonight, the agencies will host their third workshop to discuss the project. The event takes place at the Hayes Valley Playground Clubhouse, at Hayes and Buchanan, from 7pm to 8:30pm. All local residents and business owners are welcome to attend.
