School Construction
Demolition is commencing this week on the former school site at 1155 Page.

According to plan, the demolition is the first phase in the construction of a new school, leased in an agreement from the San Francisco Unified School District to the French American International School. The building has been vacant for the past six years. The French American school intends to use it as an early childhood development center. After demolishing the current building, the French American school will put up a new edifice for its pre-K and kindergarten program, a satellite to the central school on 150 Oak. We've also heard whispers that the proposed expansion of the Urban School into the parking lot of St. Agnes Parrish appears to be hitting some neighborhood roadblocks. We'll keep you posted as we hear more.
