Haight and Fillmore is almost back to "normal," as Estela's Fresh Sandwiches reopens today at 250 Fillmore Street. Like Three Twins Ice Cream, which returned two weeks ago, Estela's was forced to close in the wake of the massive fire of September 2011. While the sandwich shop opened a second location in Nob Hill, the plan was always to return to the Lower Haight once the building was ready. And that time has now come. Estela's will be open Monday through Thursday from 7am to 5pm, and Friday and Saturday until 4pm.
