The mystery mobile is back.

The mobile first installed on a tree in front of Distractions, at 1552 Haight, showed up overnight in early November. Then, early last week, it disappeared. While we were initially unable to determine who removed the first mobile, reports now indicate that the San Francisco Department of Public Works took the first mobile down, but not the bracket installed in the tree. Now, a brilliant new disco ball mobile is back in place, this one built from blue plastic clothes hangers. Whoever you are out there, it's nice to have you back.
