Reader Chris K. sent in the photo above of investigators examining the scene and locating bullet casings. Police quickly closed the 300 block of Haight Street between Webster and Buchanan, and the John Muir Elementary School on Webster was also briefly on lockdown. Reader Lucas S. tells us that one of the bullets apparently punctured the tire of a woman's car, which was parked nearby on Webster. "She drove away and then realized her tire was flat from the bullet and found the cops," Lucas tells us. "The cops took the whole wheel into custody." A car that fled the scene was being sought this afternoon, but as of this posting no arrests have been made.@Haighteration Great. More shots in the Lower Haight. Sounded like they came from Rose street again.
