Get Involved With Panhandle Park Improvements
Do you have an interest in shaping the future of the Panhandle Park? This month you have a chance to help decide what happens to it.

The improvements to the park are being stewarded by NOPNA, PRO/SF, and the Haight Ashbury Neighborhood Council, and striking at the opportunity to claim funds through the 2012 Clean and Safe Neighborhood Parks Bond. Possible improvements include better signage, a re-paved south pedestrian walkway, better lighting, and more, better fixtures like benches and trashcans. There will be three open community meetings in March to discuss possible park improvements and applications for grant money, as follows: Sunday, March 8 at 11AM: Panhandle Playground Bulletin Board Tuesday, March 18 at 6:30PM: Bread & Butter Cafe Saturday, March 29 at 1PM: Park Branch Library
