Haight Street Work Clothes To Close
Haight Street Work Clothes, which has been at 631 Haight Street for 11 years, is planning to close up shop.

Owner Maria Lopez intends to shut the store down by the end of March. As such, she's having a storewide sale starting this Saturday, March 1st. Flyers posted around the neighborhood are advertising 40% off "until everything is gone," including store fixtures.
The business, which as the name implies sells durable coats, pants, and accessories for the working man (or woman), is itself for sale for $60,000. Any buyer would then have to enter a new lease with the landlord. So if you're in the market for a heavy jacket or camouflage pants, get over to 631 Haight this weekend. We'll let you know if/when a new tenant takes over the space.
