Look out for your canine friends: poison meatballs were found just around the corner near Twin Peaks. Again.

Somewhere between 21 and 35 of them (reports differ) were found nestled in bushes and shrubbery along Crestline and Parkridge Drives. So, for now, keep your dog (or cat) on a short leash, and report any meatballs found to 911. Police are urging people not to handle the meatballs unless absolutely necessary, and if so, to wear heavy gloves (the poison can be absorbed through skin). Also being advised: snapping a photo of the site, and maybe leaving a flag for other dog owners. Police haven't yet confirmed which poison is being used this time around.
