Next Tuesday at 8pm is your chance to preview the new community event space at Second Act Marketplace, the former home of the Red Vic Movie House.
The Second Act Marketplace has come a long way since it looked like this:

The event space, part of the original vision for the remodel at the theater, will bring seating for 50 people and provide a space for organizations to screen movies, hold meetings and host events.
When we stopped in a few days ago work was still well underway, but the finishing touches are going up now, and in a matter of days it'll be open for business.
Tickets for the special sneak peek of the space are $10 on Brown Paper Tickets or at the door, and will feature music by electronic folk artist Jody Quine, with guest performer Paul Myers. There will be beer, wine and popcorn available for sale, and you'll get a chance to meet the new space face to face.
