Our favorite (only?) San Francisco mural that celebrates a gluten-free lifestyle has been tagged.
"When she answered the door in her underwear & she was holding a six-pack of gluten-free beer...I knew it was love..."
The strangely grotesque yet slightly adorable couple painted on a garage on Oak Street has been tagged over in bright gold paint. "F*CK YOU", it says. Is it a commentary on people with celiac's disease or gluten intolerance, or simply a random act of street vandalism? We'll never know for sure.
Regardless of the tagger's motivation, we're glad they chose gold paint. It adds a little flair to the mural, and the subjects suddenly seem a little more Romeo-and-Juliet-like, fighting a war against gluten-free haters through their expression of true love. We're going to take the advice of the mural artist, and recommend you:
