One of the most colorful and espresso-loving blocks in Hayes Valley is about to get a little more tasty.
We were recently searching through a list of liquor licenses for the area when we came across one for a new establishment at 344 Linden. We walked over to the 300 block, same as Blue Bottle and a few doors down from Streets of SF Bike Tours, but only saw some garages and buildings under construction.
We got curious and started doing a little research. The name of the restaurant is listed as "Linden" and it looks to be owned by a husband and wife duo who live here in San Francisco.
We reached out to them to see if they'd be willing to share anything about their upcoming project. They let us know "We're going to start building sometime this summer. We just want to create a small, cozy neighborhood restaurant serving outstanding food. One that we'd want to eat at all the time."
No word yet on what type of food they'll be serving or when they're hoping to open, so stay tuned for more details.
