We've received news that a man was shot last night on Baker Street, between Hayes and Fell.

According to the SFPD round-up, the 28-year old male victim was standing on the sidewalk around a11:41pm when he was approached by a man between 30 and 40 years old . The suspect then shot him in the arm and fled the scene. SF Appeal reports that the gunman was last seen fleeing on foot down Hayes Street. The victim was taken to SF General with non-life threatening injuries. The shooting is a reminder that although the NOPA neighborhood has changed a lot in the past few years, it's still important to always be aware of your surroundings, and keep an eye out for your neighbors.
