New Mural Appears on Divisadero
A new piece of public art has popped up on Divisadero in the lasts couple weeks, sprucing up the seemingly never-ending construction next to Bean Bag.

The mural was created by local artist Sasquatch 23. You can find his work installed across the city, including that wall on Buchanan and Haight where the late Silly Pink Bunny once resided. When we asked Mr. Sasquatch what the piece was called, he jokingly replied, “My Prerogative”—a perfect fit. We’re personally big fans of that bird head, and if you look closely you can see myriad faces throughout the strange beast’s body.
Thanks, Sasquatch, for giving the block some more character! As for the construction site, it’s been rumored to become a new Mediterranean restaurant. We’re working on getting some more details on that and we’ll keep you posted.
