The Castro Community on Patrol released a notice to spread the word that the SFPD is seeking help in gathering photos, video or tips that citizens may have of an early morning knife robbery that happened last month in the Castro. February 21st, 2014, at approximately 2:15AM, a Castro-area merchant and resident was assaulted and held at knifepoint on the South side of the 2300 block of Market Street (between Noe and Castro on the Fitness SF side). San Francisco Patrol Special Police and San Francisco Police Department Officers responded to the scene and took one female suspect into custody. The SFPD is looking for the public's help to secure a conviction in this case and is seeking anyone who witnessed the incident, and anyone who may have photographs or video of the incident, to contact them immediately.
