Why yes, ABC, we are ready for our close-up.

We were walking around the neighborhood yesterday, heading east on Linden and about to turn left on Octavia, when we noticed a bunch of people standing in place, camera phones out in picture-taking position, all facing toward the end of Patricia's Green near Hayes Street.

After coming around the corner, we realized there were film cameras everywhere. While HBO's Looking shot scenes in various locations around San Francisco, we didn't think they were back in town yet to work on Season 2.

We spoke to one of the crew members and learned they're shooting a pilot episode for a new drama on ABC called "Exposed."

"It's a show about a female journalist working for Rolling Stone" the crew member told us. He said they're partly filming here in San Francisco and partly in Vancouver.

According to Deadline, the show features Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Ben Barnes and falls in that "drama-meets-action-meets-romance-meets-government conspiracy theory" category we've all come to know and love:
Based on the best-selling Swedish novels by Liza Marklund, Exposed centers on Anna (Winstead), an investigative journalist who will stop at nothing to uncover the truth, including making questionable alliances. Barnes, repped by WME and Luber Roklin, will play Stoya, a mysterious man who develops an intimate relationship with Anna. He claims to be a pilot but is in fact an NSA whistleblower who is being hunted by the U.S. government because he knows too much.
We were able to get a few shots while they were filming. Here's the crew hanging out in the center of Patricia's Green between takes:

After every few takes, they brought this truck around and yelled "WETDOWN! IT'S A WETDOWN!" which made us think of "It's a walk off!" from Zoolander. We guess the place had to look like it was just raining (which, if you might recall yesterday's weather, it already did):

The crew got ready to film the actors as they made their way from behind Ritual's shipping container, across Patricia's Green, and west on Hayes Street:

The cameras followed a male and female actor down Hayes and all the way to Triple Aught Design before calling it a wrap and sending them back toward the Proxy Project:

If anyone captured anything else or learned more about the show, let us know. Otherwise, look for Exposed this fall so you can pause the screen, take a picture, email it to your family, and say "omg that's my neighborhood, I walk by that store all the time."

And that's a wrap.

UPDATE (4/3): It turns out the show is being produced by NBC but distributed by ABC, so if you hear both networks being associated with the show, that's why.
