Three of the best things about summer in San Francisco are the influx of tourists, wearing winter jackets instead of bathing suits, and jazz. Okay. One best thing. It's jazz. We love you, jazz.

Luckily for us, one of the premier jazz performance spaces in the Bay Area is in our neighborhood. Recently opened in January 2013, the SFJAZZ Center (Franklin & Fell) has been offering a wide array of performances in its brief time in Hayes Valley. 

And now they're gearing up for their 32nd Annual SF Jazz Festival and SFJAZZ Summer Sessions. 

Below is a list of all the shows for both events, so scan the list and get a feel for what's being offered. Tickets can be purchased online through their events calendar. Tickets for the SF Jazz Festival and Summer Sessions go on sale Wednesday, April 23 at 11am (or Wednesday, April 9 for members).
