Piper's Shoe Parlor Prepares To Re-OpenPhoto: Camden Avery/Hoodline
It seems that Piper's Shoe Parlor, so lately closed, is about to make a comeback.

This could be a record even by Haight Street standards.

The shoe and clothing boutique, which was opened a scant three years ago by Justin and Jessica Dega at 1682 Haight, sold off its inventory after a sudden closure announcement just a month ago.

A conversation with one of the managers at the time indicated that the owners were parting ways.

Now, though, after canceling the furniture and fixture sale originally scheduled last weekend, Piper's has put brown paper up over the windows and signs promising a rebirth.

We were unable to confirm details about the new ownership as of the time of this posting, but stay tuned for more news about the new ownership, the direction of the new business post-relaunch, and estimated dates for the new opening.
