Looking to expand your skill set? Workshop SF offers affordable classes, workshops, and events aimed at learning a new set of how-tos.

At Workshop, locals can sign up to teach classes and share their knowledge with the surrounding community. Every time we check out Workshop's upcoming calendar, we're flooded with a list of events and classes. Here's a small selection of classes coming up that you might want to add to your busy schedule:

Tomorrow, Kelly from McVicker's Pickles will be sharing her skills in a workshop titled Pickling 101: Preserving the PerishablesSince it's being held on the same day as the Divisadero Farmer's Market, attendees will stroll down from Workshop to choose their ingredients.

Monday's class offers an excuse to dust off that sewing machine and start crafting. Sewing 101: Machine and Hand Basics starts with an easy project: a sock monkey. The class will cover basic stitches, cutting fabric, and how to operate that tricky sewing machine.

On Thursday, you can learn to make a cocktail Don Draper style. Old School Booze 101: Mad Men Cocktails coincides neatly with the return of everyone's favorite 60s-era show. In this course Oliver Piazza (from Dear Mom and Thieves Tavern) will be sharing his impeccable cocktail-making skills with the neighborhood.

Saturday's class Screen Printing for Newbies, Late Night Edition will help you turn that awesome t-shirt idea into an awesome t-shirt you can actually wear. Learn the basics of screen printing, from coating screens, burning them, and transferring the image onto whatever you like.
