Tomorrow, Kelly from McVicker's Pickles will be sharing her skills in a workshop titled Pickling 101: Preserving the Perishables. Since it's being held on the same day as the Divisadero Farmer's Market, attendees will stroll down from Workshop to choose their ingredients.
Monday's class offers an excuse to dust off that sewing machine and start crafting. Sewing 101: Machine and Hand Basics starts with an easy project: a sock monkey. The class will cover basic stitches, cutting fabric, and how to operate that tricky sewing machine.
On Thursday, you can learn to make a cocktail Don Draper style. Old School Booze 101: Mad Men Cocktails coincides neatly with the return of everyone's favorite 60s-era show. In this course Oliver Piazza (from Dear Mom and Thieves Tavern) will be sharing his impeccable cocktail-making skills with the neighborhood.
